Did you know that I’m also a book publicist at Macmillan’s Flatiron Books? Yep! I promote really cool books for a living as well! Before that, I was a publicist at Hachette Book Group for Basic Books, and prior to that, an associate publicist at Columbia University Press for 6 years. Overall, I’ve been in the book publishing industry for 10 years, so you’re in excellent hands!

      I’ll assist with bringing your book idea to fruition, determining who the audience might be, and suggest the proper steps toward completing the process, and answering any related questions, etc.

      I’ll write a pitch for you to send to media outlets for coverage.

      I’ll create a press release for your book to generate buzz for its upcoming or new release.

      I’ll build a media list of various outlets including print, digital, broadcast/podcast/radio), etc. for coverage.

      I’ll compile a media list and send out a media blast to outlets in order to generate early buzz. For an extra $100, I’ll do a follow-up a month later.

      I’ll help book at least 3 bookstores for an author event or signing. Please note that most bookstores need at least 3 months’ notice for booking.

      This includes all of the services listed above, plus follow-ups. This would most likely be a 6-month campaign, up until the book is published. Post-publication follow-ups = an extra $100.

      I offer proofreading services for all types of writing, including resumes, blog posts, essays, books, etc.
